A Personal Development Course

A Course for Personal Wellbeing and Mental Health, Based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy / Training
The courses and seminars will teach skills that will empower participants to find new pathways to a more enriched life. The course aims to increase awareness of behaviours that limit life's opportunities and gives an overview of five essential psychological skills that are proven to positively influence emotional wellbeing. It enables people to deal with life's difficulties more effectively.

WHAT WE OFFER:
"Your Life, Your Choice" is grounded in the ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/ Training). ACT is a science-based psychological model that has been proven effective in treating conditions including anxiety, chronic pain, depression, stress, smoking, burnout, weight loss, and performance improvement amongst others. ACT interventions have helped thousands of people improve their well-being and live more enriched lives.
This course includes many skills including self-knowledge, compassion, values clarification, and mindfulness. All of these components work together to empower participants to deal with difficulties more effectively. This course promotes long-lasting behavioural change.

Patricia Guerrero
I am a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). I initially obtained a BA in Psychology and Pedagogy and a Master's degree in Social Psychology. After having my two children, I obtained a Master's degree (MA) in Behaviour Analytic Psychology from the University of Reno, Nevada (UNR) where I studied Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/Training ACT.

My working experience over the past 20 years include working with parents in supportive roles and children with or without autism to promote their development. I have also worked closely with adults who wanted to bring change in their lives. My purpose has been to promote psychological wellbeing and help people thrive.
